Lauren Weitzel and Samantha Wood have been recognized as the 2015-16 Casper College Outstanding Student Employees by the Casper College Student Success Center.
Elizabeth Walsh, a 2014 graduate of Natrona County High School, was recently selected as the 2016 recipient of the Jon E. Brady Award in Political Study at Casper College, where she is double majoring in international studies and world languages.
Casper College is one of 30 schools in the nation, and the only one in the state of Wyoming, to be selected as a new Peer Advisors for Veteran Education (PAVE) partner campus. The new program will start this fall.
The Casper College Respiratory Therapy program has been chosen by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care to receive the Distinguished RRT (registered respiratory therapist) Credentialing Success Award at the American Association for Respiratory Care’s Summer Forum in late June.

The Casper College Men’s Rodeo Team has a history of success, particularly within the last decade thanks in no small part to head coach, Tom Parker. However, Parker’s young team was sitting back in the pack until a couple of big late-season wins earned them a return visit to the 2016 College National Finals Rodeo.
With more than 18 years of working in higher education, Divine is the sixth president in the college’s history. A career in academia, however, was not originally on Divine’s radar. “I had planned to primarily study desert big horn sheep by the time I received my doctorate,” he says.
