John P. Ellbogen Foundation Opportunity Scholarship

The John P. Ellbogen Foundation Scholarship will be granted to a select number of students who are enrolled at Casper College as degree-seeking students in one of the programs listed below. Students must be at least 24 years of age, a Wyoming resident, and are required to submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the year in which the award is granted. Financial Need is a consideration. Recipients of the scholarship may be asked to participate in surveys, focus groups, and/or provide additional information to the John P. Ellbogen Foundation
Both merit and need based scholarships are available for Casper College students. Scholarship awards are intended to recognize academic and other achievements, to encourage performance, and to assist as many qualified students as possible.
Deadlines, eligibility requirements and application processes vary widely between programs. Carefully review deadlines and requirements for each scholarship. Some scholarships require applicants to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); be sure to use the Casper College School Code: 003928.
Explore all relevant scholarship options to determine if you are an eligible applicant, and then apply for as many scholarships as you can. The scholarship search and application process takes time, but it can pay off. Students can receive multiple scholarships as long as the combined totals don’t exceed certain limits.

Natrona County residents who are 60 years of age of older may receive a 70% discount on tuition. This scholarship does not cover fees, textbooks, supplies, trips or classes provided by a third-party vendor. Please bring your Wyoming drivers license or Wyoming state ID to Enrollment Services on the 3rd of the Gateway Center for more information.
