How to find information and updates in an emergency:

What is CC Alert?
CC Alert is Casper College’s emergency notification system. It is used only for urgent situations such as:
- Emergencies on the Casper College campus
- Campus closures
- Extreme weather or other events expected to impact campus
Who is automatically signed up for CC Alert?
All students and employees are automatically signed up following the fall and spring enrollment periods.
Can anyone sign up for CC Alert?
Yes. Anyone can sign up for an account. Creating an account is free, and once you’re signed up, you will automatically begin receiving alerts.

What is my username?
Your username should be your Casper College email address and your password is whatever you set when you signed up.
How do I stop receiving CC Alert text messages?
You have two options:
Method 1: Text “STOP”
- Open your phone’s text messaging app.
- Type STOP in the message body.
- Send it to the shortcode that sent you the alert (for example, 67283, 226787, 78015, or 77295).
- You will receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed from all alerts.
Method 2: Log in to the system
- Go to the Rave Alerts login page at https://getrave.com/login/caspercollege.
- Log in using your account credentials.
- Find your profile and locate your contact information.
- Delete your phone number from the contact list by clicking the “X” icon (or similar), then save the changes.
Do I have to pay for CC Alert messages?
No. CC Alert is free. Standard text messaging rates may apply depending on your phone plan.
How often will I receive alerts?
Only during emergencies, closures, or urgent situations impacting campus operations. The system is not used for marketing or routine college communications.
Can I receive alerts by email as well?
Yes. When you log into your CC Alert profile, you can add or update email addresses to receive alerts in addition to text messages.
Can I receive alerts as voice messages?
Yes. CC Alert also offers voice call notifications. You can add a phone number for voice calls in your CC Alert profile. When an alert is issued, the system will automatically call that number and deliver the message.
What should I do if I change my phone number?
Log into your CC Alert profile at https://getrave.com/login/caspercollege and update your contact information to ensure you continue to receive alerts.

What if my cell phone number changes?
If your mobile number ever changes, please login to the getrave.com site and update your contact details.
What if my cell phone provider changes?
If you keep the same mobile number, and simply change cell phone provider, you do not have to change anything however it may take several weeks for your mobile provider to update the Rave Alert system. During that time it is possible that you will not be able to receive messages unless you login to update your carrier information.
