2026 Casper College Powwow features dancers, singers, tiny tots, and more

The 2026 Casper College Powwow will feature dancers, singers, tiny tots, and more on Saturday, May 2.

The Casper College Indigenous Student Alliance will host the Fourth Annual Casper College Traditional Powwow on the Casper College Murane Soccer Field.

The powwow will award prizes in Men’s Traditional Special, Women’s Jingle Special, Teen Boys, Girls Fancy, Tiny Tots Special, and Hoop Dance Special. All singers and dancers are welcome to attend.

The event is free and open to all. The powwow will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, awnings, umbrellas, and water as the Thunderbird community is celebrated.

The arena direction is provided by Lydell Whiteplume, and Bear River will provide the host drums.

The soccer practice field is located at 780 College Drive.
