Applications will open Monday, Feb. 26, for Casper College’s popular KEY Camp. “Knowledge Enrichment for Youth, KEY Camp is more than just a summer camp. It builds a foundation for lifelong learning and friendships, aids students in reaching their full potential, and equips them for the future,” said Brittney Good, community education program coordinator.

According to Good, KEY is a one-week summer residential program at Casper College for young people who are intellectually curious and excited to learn. The camp is open to students entering the seventh or eighth grade in the fall of 2024.

The camp offers students an immersive college life experience as they participate in hands-on learning in science, math, art, literacy, career exploration, and college readiness. Plus, the camp is a great place to make new friends and enjoy fun camp activities, including movie night, swimming, team building, and outdoor activities.

The camp costs $660 to attend, and two sessions of the six-day camp are available: June 9-14 and June 16-22. A teacher recommendation is required, enrollment is limited, and the program may fill up, so early registration is encouraged. Only completed online applications will be considered and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the program is full. The application deadline is Thursday, April 18.
