The Casper College Women’s Soccer team coaches are offering a summer soccer camp for girls on June 23 and 24.

The camp is for female soccer players beginning their freshman through their senior year of high school. The camp is limited to the first 50 entrants. Head Coach Ammon Bennet and Assistant Coach Jocelyn Norcross will run the camp. “This two-day camp is a great way to learn more about all levels of college soccer and the recruiting process,” said Bennett. “We will run technical drills and then allow some open play,” noted Norcross.

The camp will take place at the Murane Field, the soccer field for the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Casper College. The camp will run from 6-8 p.m. on the 23rd, with check-in at 5:45 and 9-11 a.m. on the 24th. Participants are asked to prepare for a hot summer day, bring sunscreen, a water bottle, a soccer ball, cleats, shin guards, and wear appropriate clothing. The cost for the camp is $25, which includes a T-shirt, training, … “and lots of encouragement,” Bennett said.

To register or for more information, call Jocelyn Norcross, women’s assistant soccer coach, at 307-268-2334 or jocelyn.norcross@caspercollege.edu, or go online.
