The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, OLLI at Casper College, will host a trip to Ireland Oct. 21-30, 2023. A free presentation to learn more about the trip will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 4:30-5 p.m. in Room 218 in the Walter H. Nolte Gateway Center.

According to Kat Bohr-Buresh, OLLI coordinator, the trip is exclusive to OLLI members and is organized by Collette, a travel agency specializing in group tours with more than 100 years in business. “Travelers will experience a true taste of ‘Irish Splendor’ on a trip that combines fabulous accommodations, stunning scenery, and incredible cuisine,” said Bohr-Buresh.

What promises to be an unforgettable tour of the fabulous Emerald Isle will begin in Dublin with a visit to Christ Church Cathedral, one of Ireland’s most historic buildings. Other highlights include the historic Rock of Cashel, kissing the Blarney Stone, exploring the spectacular Dingle Peninsula, and driving the Slea Head road for majestic coastal views. “We will also stand in awe on the Cliffs of Moher, spend the night in a castle, and take in the countryside and culture of Ireland,” added Bohr-Buresh. A tour of the Guinness Storehouse, a whiskey distillery, an evening of Irish dancing, and 15 meals, including a medieval banquet, are also planned.

A recording of the presentation will be available for those unable to attend, said Bohr-Buresh. For more information, contact Bohr-Buresh at 307-268-3401 or olli@caspercollege.edu.

The Walter H. Nolte Gateway Center is located on the Casper College campus.
