Pizza Hut Invitational Nov. 18-20

The Casper College Women’s Basketball team will be hosting this year’s Pizza Hut Invitational Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 18-20, in the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gymnasium.

Currently, the Lady T-Birds stand at 3-1 for the season, with the team’s last win coming Nov. 12 at the Northeastern Junior College Beef Booster Hamburger Fry Tournament. The birds won against Concordia Junior Varsity 82-61.

Three other teams will participate in the tournament, including the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen, Concordia Junior Varsity, and the Snow College Lady Badgers.

The Invitational will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 18 when the Thunderbirds play against the Plainswomen. On Friday, two games will be held. The 5:30 p.m. matchup features the Plainswomen taking on the Wyoming All-Stars. At 7:30, the T-Birds will play against the Badgers.

The tournament will conclude Saturday afternoon. The first game will begin at 1 p.m. and feature the Plainswomen against the Badgers. The T-Birds will play against the Wyoming All-Stars starting at 3 p.m.
