The H.E. Stuckenhoff School of Nursing will be celebrating 50 years of nursing at Casper College with an open house on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 1-4 p.m.

The open house will be held in the Saunders Health Science Center and will feature tours of the facilities including the inter-professional Health Science Simulation Center. In addition, refreshments and cake will be served. “We are hoping to see past graduates, faculty, and the residents of Natrona County at our open house,” said Marge Christiansen.

The Casper College Nursing Program began offering an associate degree in nursing in the fall semester of 1969. According to Christiansen, director of nursing, nearly 1800 nursing students have graduated from Casper College since 1969.

The open house is free and open to the public. The Saunders Health Science Center is located on the Casper College campus.
