The 2019 Adult Learning Center at Casper College High School Equivalency Commencement will be held on Saturday, June 1 beginning at 11 a.m.

This year’s commencement speaker will be Albert SixFeathers, a graduate of the Adult Learning Center and Casper College. SixFeathers entered the ALC in August of 2016 and obtained his High School Equivalency Certificate in less than a semester. He then entered the Casper College Paralegal program, and will have recently graduated from that program with his associate degree in May 2019.

As a congressional intern for Senator John Barrasso during the summer of 2018, SixFeathers was recognized by Barrasso in the Congressional Record of July 25, 2018, for “… his hard work as an intern in my Casper office. I recognize his efforts and contributions to my office, as well as to the State of Wyoming.”

SixFeathers plans to further his education and attend law school, then work in the public court system before opening his own law firm.

Both the ceremony and a reception following the ceremony are free and open to the public. The graduation ceremony will take place in the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gym on the Casper College campus.
