The Tate Geological Museum will host “Drinking with Dinos” on Thursday, Jan. 24 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The free event is open to all Tate Geological Museum members 21 and older and will feature a variety of wine, beer, and light snacks. Each attendee will receive two drink tickets. “This is a fun event where members can sample the different wines and beer we will have on hand while they wander through the museum and get a sneak preview of some of our latest acquisitions,” said Patti Finkle, director of museums. Finkle noted that alcohol would not be available for sale at the event.

Nonmembers wishing to attend Drinking with Dinos only need to become a member of the museum either online at caspercollege.edu/tate-geological-museum/membership or by calling the Tate at 307-268-2447. Memberships are $18 for individuals and $36 for families. All members receive the bi-monthly Tate’s newsletter, the Tate Museum Geological Times, invitations to members-only events and outings and a 10 percent discount at the museum gift shop.
