All Natrona County residents are invited to participate in a free drug take-back safe disposal event on Thursday, Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The take-back will be held in the Chapman Lobby of the Walter H. Nolte Gateway Center.

“Returning your unwanted medicine to a take-back program is the safest and most environmentally protective way to dispose of all unused or expired medications,” said Joanne Theobald, director of counseling.

Representatives from the local Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming, Natrona County; the Casper Police Department; and students in the Casper College Pharmacy Technology program will be on hand to collect any unused or expired prescription medications and expired over-the-counter drugs.

The Nolte Gateway Center is located on the Casper College campus.
