11th Annual “Maybe, Maybe Not” Concert Features Works by Gershwin
The 11th annual “Maybe, Maybe Not” concert featuring the Casper College Concert Band, will be held on Saturday, May 6 beginning at 3 p.m. in the Wheeler Concert Hall.
The band will play the music of George Gershwin as well as an “eclectic collection of music from ragtime to European pop concert band music,” said Douglas Bull, brass instructor and concert band director. Bull will solo with the band on a selection titled “Portrait of A Trumpet” and a ragtime feature for two xylophones will be performed. “To top everything off, the band will perform ‘Groove Music’ written by the celebrated American composer Brian Balmages,” said Bull.
The “Maybe, Maybe Not” concert is free and open to all. The Wheeler Concert Hall is located in the Music Building on the Casper College campus.
