You can become a nurse through a new and exciting hybrid degree option. The Casper College Nursing Department is offering the new hybrid option for those who want to become nurses, combining classroom courses with an alternative clinical experience.
The new hybrid option will begin in the fall 2026 semester. The new program will blend flexible online learning with meaningful in-person clinical instruction and experiences, allowing students to balance academic demands with work, family, and personal responsibilities. Eight students will be admitted to the hybrid program, and the application deadline is Sunday, March 1.
Program Admissions and Transfer Pathways for Hybrid Degree Option

- Statewide Curriculum: The program features a statewide curriculum for easy transfers and acceptance into the University of Wyoming for completion of a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Academic Advancement: Graduates can earn a bachelor’s, master’s, or even a doctorate through university partnerships with schools from across the country.
“The hybrid degree option is being offered to meet students where they are and to support their success as learners and future nurses,” said Tina King, director of nursing.
The Casper College the hybrid degree option features a statewide curriculum for easy transfers and acceptance into the University of Wyoming for completion of a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Students who choose CC for their first two years of college are prepared to transfer and finish their degrees anywhere in the world. Graduates can earn a bachelor’s, master’s, or even a doctorate through one of Casper College’s university partnerships with schools from across the country.
“This student-centered approach promotes engagement, accessibility, and confidence while ensuring students develop the hands-on skills, critical thinking, and professional readiness required for safe, compassionate nursing practice,” King said.
