Casper College plans search for its next president
Casper College will soon begin the search process for the next president of Casper College. Pauly Group Inc., a national search consulting firm that assists in the recruitment and successful hiring of community college executives, has been retained to assist the college’s board of trustees with the search.
Details about the process to date follow but are subject to change:
- August and September 2024 — The board of trustees will begin reaching out to individuals who represent various college and community stakeholders to serve on the Casper College Presidential Search Committee.
- November 2024 — Angela Provart, president of Pauly Group, will be on campus meeting with forums to discuss Casper College’s challenges and the characteristics needed in the next president. The details will be announced as the college gets closer to the forums.
- A position profile will be developed based on these conversations.
- Recruiting for applicants will begin in December 2024, with applications due in early February 2025.
- The search committee will identify and interview semi-finalists in mid-February.
- Final candidates will be at a Casper College meeting with various constituency groups in late March. Once identified, these dates will be announced.
- The board of trustees will select the final candidate, offer the position, and negotiate a contract in early April.
- The final candidate will begin in July 2025.
