High-demand and high-wage jobs in Wyoming’s industry sector are available to those who have learned the necessary skills to succeed.

The Casper College School of Business and Industry is holding a “Tools of the Trade” registration event to show students how they can succeed in the industry sector and enjoy a satisfying career. “Tools of the Trade” will occur on Friday, April. 5, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to showcase the excellent career training available at Casper College.

All industry program students and those thinking about a job in the industry sector are welcome to attend the free event. Those interested will be able to meet the instructors and take a tour of the many well-equipped shops. Instructors can also help prospective students register for classes and discover how a certificate or degree can put them one step closer to a well-paying and gratifying job.

The programs featured during “Tools of the Trade” will include auto body, automotive, aviation, construction, diesel, electronics, engineering technology, fire science, machine tool, manufacturing, and welding.

Casper College offers high-quality instruction and training for high-demand, high-wage jobs. “We are excited to show off our various industry programs and get students registered as they begin their journey,” said Rachel Chadderdon, dean of the Casper College School of Business and Industry. We have so much to offer at Casper College, both affordable degrees and certificates,” she added.

“Tools of the Trade” is free and open to the public and will take place in the Werner Technical Center lobby on the Casper College campus. Walk-ins are welcome. Those who have questions or would like to make an appointment for a specific area can call Rachel Wright, academic assistant, at 307-268-2494 or rachel.wright@caspercollege.edu.
