Ryan Pitts event canceled; to be rescheduled

Medal of Honor recipient Ryan Pitts’ Feb. 11 appearance at Casper College has been canceled.

According to Nicholas Whipps, veteran and international student coordinator, Pitts’ presentation will be rescheduled for a later time. “Mr. Pitts was very apologetic for not being able to come to Casper on Feb. 11, but assured me that he will come at a later date,” said Whipps.

Pitts’ talk was part of the college’s Veterans Week celebration.
