Binnian strengthens financial operations and support in new job at Casper College

As the new Director of Accounting and Financial Management/Controller, Kasi Binnian has been implementing new procedures and reports since taking the helm of Casper College’s Accounting and Financial Management Office.

Binnian, who worked closely with former director Brooke Downs during a three-week transition, brings extensive experience in several key areas:

• Financial planning and analysis
• Leadership and team collaboration
• Budgeting and variance analysis
• Audit coordination and regulatory compliance

“With a CPA license and over eight years of experience in tax and audit, I’m able to bring both technical knowledge and leadership skills to support the college’s financial operations,” said Binnian.

“As our new director of accounting and financial management/controller, Kasi brings a wealth of experience in accounting, finance, auditing, and human resources. We’re confident her leadership and expertise will strengthen our financial operations and support the continued success of her department and Casper College,” noted Rhonda Franzen, interim vice president of administrative services.

Professional Background

Binnian earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and management with a focus in human resources from Colorado Mesa University in 2015 before moving to Casper to work at Hilltop Bank. In 2018, she began work at the PMCH CPA firm and, while there, earned her CPA certification. She most recently served as the tax manager at Casper Accounting Solutions.
