SPECIAL BROWN BAG PRESENTATION AT THE LIBRARY ON MAY 4
Cuatro Amigos in Mexico
If you recall last fall, the International Education Office requested faculty and administrators who might be interested in visiting CC's newest sister college in Oaxaca, Mexico, to submit a letter of interest. In November, 2008, Lois Davis, Thom DeVoogd, Eric Mechalke and Barbara Mueller visited URSE (Southeast Regional University). Upon their return, they began to arrange for student exchanges, internet classes, Moodle training, a WYDEC Conference presentation, and other programs of mutual benefit to both institutions.
Come learn more how this unique partnership can help both you and your students. This Brown Bag program, presented by Cuatro Amigos (plus Lora Hittle, Spanish instructor and chair of World Languages), will feature pictures of the beautiful colonial city of Oaxaca and its outstanding archeological sites. It will be held at the CC Library at noon on May 4. Everyone is welcome - students, administrators, faculty and staff.
