The Casper College Men’s Rodeo Team has a history of success, particularly within the last decade thanks in no small part to head coach, Tom Parker. However, Parker’s young team was sitting back in the pack until a couple of big late-season wins earned them a return visit to the 2016 College National Finals Rodeo.
With more than 18 years of working in higher education, Divine is the sixth president in the college’s history. A career in academia, however, was not originally on Divine’s radar. “I had planned to primarily study desert big horn sheep by the time I received my doctorate,” he says.
The Casper College Debate team had what Director of Forensics Douglas Hall calls an “amazing success” at this year’s Phi Rho Pi National Forensics Tournament recently held in Costa Mesa, California.

Casper College criminal justice major Jordan Gill of Gillette, Wyoming, has been named as the 2016 Wyoming Association of Community College Trustees Student of the Year for the 2015-16 school year.
Casper College’s Women’s Basketball Head Coach, Dwight Gunnare, has been named Coach of the Year in Region IX for the 2015-2016 year. The Lady T-Birds ended the year with a record of 28-5.
