It started like any other day for Student Success Specialist Mary Lewallen, but early on that all changed when she was handed a check for $1.1 million dollars to further support the Neil and Doris McMurry Single Parent Program at the college.
“Snowflakes and Swing” is the theme for the Fifth Annual Casper College Christmas Tapestry concert. The concert will be performed on Sunday, Dec. 2 and Monday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Wheeler Concert Hall.
Casper College will be hosting activities to help suicide loss survivors find comfort and gain understanding through stories of healing and hope during International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
The Casper College Clarinet Choir, under the direction of Joshua R. Mietz, D.M.A., will perform J. S. Bach’s well-known “Goldberg Variations” on Wednesday, Nov. 14 beginning at 7 p.m.
American Sign Language students from Casper College, Kelly Walsh High School, and Dean Morgan Middle School, as well as local deaf community members, will be presenting a variety of expressive art at the Wheeler Concert Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 6:30 p.m.
The regular season for both the men’s and women’s Thunderbird Basketball teams begins this weekend with the GW Mechanical Tip-Off Classic November 2 and 3 at the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gymnasium.
