The Werner Wildlife Museum will host the 2019 biennial life science presentation by kindergarteners and first graders from Woods Learning Center on Tuesday, May 7.
With guidance from their teachers, Woods students study living things and their environments. Each student chooses a topic on Wyoming wildlife and conducts research which includes a visit to the Werner Wildlife Museum to view their chosen animal up close.
Following research and preparation, student panels present their findings at the Werner. “Presentation day has been the best-attended event at the Werner Wildlife Museum, and the public is invited to join us in the (free) fun and learning,” said India Hayford, museum assistant.
Due to its popularity with the public, two sessions will be offered on May 7; one at 12:30 p.m. and the other at 6 p.m.
The Werner Wildlife Museum is located off the Casper College campus at 405 E. 15th Street. For more information call the museum at 307-235-2108 or email indiahayford@caspercollege.edu.
