My bio

Prior to her job at Casper College, Lisa was the sales manager at KVOC radio. Beginning in 1981, she served in the capacities of announcer, sales person, sales manager, news reporter, news director and morning show host. She completely retired from radio after a successful stint as host of Sunday Morning Country Classics in 1998.

A native of Casper, Lisa earned her A.S. in journalism from Casper College and both her B.S. in social sciences and her M.P.A. from the University of Wyoming.

Lisa has been the editor and news coordinator at Casper College for over 20 years. In that capacity she handles press releases, marketing and advertising for the college. She also edits and proofs marketing products produced by the Office of Public Relations, where her job is housed. In addition, she co-teaches two six-week classes in the spring and fall semesters on classic American film for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Casper College.

Lisa enjoys the Wyoming outdoors, reading, old movies (silents-1945), cookbooks and bird watching. She and her husband Stan are "parents" of some wonderful cats, dogs, and parrotlets.
