The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, OLLI at Casper College, and Community Education at Casper College fall 2026 class proposals are due Tuesday, April 14.
“The community education and lifelong learning team welcomes class proposals from individuals who are interested in sharing their talents, hobbies, and skills with the community,” said Falon Cole, OLLI coordinator.
The classes in each program vary from one hour to six weeks and are noncredit, requiring no grades, quizzes, or homework.
Community education classes are designed for individuals 18 and older who seek personal enrichment and growth. OLLI classes must incorporate an educational or historical component tailored for a vibrant learning community of members aged 50 and above, ensuring that the content is relevant and engaging to foster lifelong learning and personal development among older adults.
“The mission of Casper College’s Community Education and Lifelong Learning department is to promote learning for the love of it,” noted Kat Bohr-Buresh, director of lifelong learning and adult education.
Staff for both departments will help with brainstorming ideas, creating a curriculum, and structuring classes for those new to teaching, if needed. “Our instructors bring diverse experiences and passions, offering classes in art, cooking, local folklore, world history, animal science, technology, film, health, fitness, and many other topics,” added Zhanna Gallegos, community education coordinator.
The 2026 fall term runs from Monday, Aug. 24, to Friday, Dec. 18. Late submissions will not be considered. Instructors must be 18 or older, and no formal credentials are required. For more information, go to Jobs at Casper College or call 307-268-3401. All class proposals are submitted online.
