Technical difficulties result in ‘Silent Sky’ premiering Wednesday, Nov. 19

The emotionally charged drama “Silent Sky,” scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 18, has been postponed to Wednesday, Nov. 19, due to technical difficulties. According to Joel Shura, director, the technical issues prevented the play’s premiere on Tuesday. “We want everyone to see this production as intended and so had to make this difficult decision to postpone the premiere,” he said.
“Silent Sky” is the second offering for the 2025-2026 theater season at Casper College. The drama, based on a true story, will be performed Nov. 19-22 in the Thomas H. Empey Studio Theatre.
The Tuesday night premiere was to include an “Afterglow” at the end of the play. That special event will still occur on Wednesday, immediately following the performance.
