Casper College School of Health Science hosts Health Care Job Fair Nov. 13

The Casper College School of Health Science is hosting the Casper College Health Care Job Fair Thursday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Liesinger Hall Gymnasium. Prospective college and high school students, alumni, and the public are invited to the free fair to learn about current and future job opportunities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with health care employers from Casper and surrounding counties, exploring job opportunities in various fields, including those that work directly with patients or behind the scenes.
Job fields represented at the fair will include medical laboratory technician, nurse, occupational therapy assistant, paramedic technology, pharmacy technology, radiography, respiratory therapy, and more, according to Ashlee Taylor, career services coordinator at Casper College.
The career fair is ideal for individuals seeking to explore job, internship, or volunteer opportunities. The career fair will enable attendees to hone their networking skills and potentially secure a job in their chosen health science field. Some employers offer same-day interviews, so those planning to attend are urged to bring copies of their resume and dress professionally.
“Resume support will be available with the Casper Workforce Center, and valuable resources will also be on site,” said Taylor.
The job fair offers a chance for potential employees to meet recruiters from various facilities. In addition to direct care providers, hospitals and other health-related businesses hire administrative and support staff.
Working professionals, job seekers, and individuals exploring career options in the health care field are welcome to attend.
