Financial Assistance for Veterans

Casper College would like to thank our men and women of the armed forces and their family members for all they do. We are here to work with you to set your educational goals to expand career advancement in the military or during transition from military service to civilian life.

Veterans and family members  looking to apply for VA Education Benefits please click on GI Bill.

Wyoming Combat Veterans looking to apply for tuition assistance click on Federal and WY Tuition Assistance.

Service members looking to apply for military benefits please select either Federal Tuition Assistance or Wy Nat'lGuard/Air Guard Education Assistance.

Apply online for Casper College scholarships that are specific to your major and for Veterans.

  • Online applications for the upcoming year are open January 10th, closing March 2nd.
  • Spring Semester online applications are open October 1st, closing November 14th.

Complete the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) – FAFSA needs to be renewed every year you are going working on your undergraduate degree.

VA Work-Study Allowance - If you're a full-time or 3/4-time student in a college degree, vocational, or professional program, you can “earn while you learn” with a VA work-study allowance. You’ll earn an hourly wage equal to the Federal minimum wage or your State minimum wage, whichever is greater.

Casper College Veterans Center

The Campus Veterans Center is located in the Goodstein Library Room 108. Open Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. 

Casper College Veterans Club

A student-lead organization has developed a Campus Veterans Center. The Veterans Club hosts different veterans services each week on campus to assistace veterans, service members and dependents.

The Campus Veterans Center is located in the Goodstein Library Room 108.
