Overview of Student Employment

Required Forms
Forms and related information are available in Classlink under HR Employee Resources. Click on the Student Employee Resources and Information icon.
As a student employee, you are required to complete the following forms:
- I-9 form
- W-4 form for tax withholding: This form may be filled out in advance.
Casper College is an E-Verify employer. In conjunction with completing your I-9 form, you are required to provide original documents to the HR representative for review: either one item from List A, or one item each from Lists B and C. List of Acceptable Documents. Contact the Human Resources department at x 2727 if you do not have an acceptable document from List C.
- I-9 form: This form established employment eligibility. You may not begin student employment until your I9 form is complete and the E-Verify check is done. This form must be completed in the Human Resources office
- International students are required to provide the following:
- Unexpired foreign passport, Form I-94 or I-94A, Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Non-Immigrant (F-1)(M-1) Student), and a social security card
- International students may coordinate with Mala Stagg, International and Athletic Student Coordinator, Gateway (GW) 207, ext. 2206

Pay Information
- Sign up for direct deposit through MyCCInfo.
- Branch pay card – complete the sign-up form and return to HR to receive your card.
- International students may receive a live check.
Required Orientations and Background Checks
Student Employee Orientation
Complete the Student Employee Orientation through Moodle in your first week of employment. Email your certificate to Barbara Agostini in HR.
Bloodborne Pathogen Training
Students assigned to positions in the following areas are required to complete Bloodborne Pathogens training through United Educators within the first 30 days of employment. Email your certificate to Barbara Agostini in HR.
- Athletics
- Health Sciences
- Biology – TAs
- Theatre/Dance
- Agriculture
- Certain technical positions in the School of Business & Industry
Background checks are required for students in these positions/areas:
- IT
- IT Help Desk
- DLC – AV Assistant
- CALC/CELL
- Student Life
- Residence Hall Assistants
- GEAR UP
