CC Spring Job Fair features wide range of employers April 23

A wide range of full-time, part-time, seasonal, and internship opportunities will be available at the Casper College Spring Job Fair on Thursday, April 23. All companies attending will have current job openings in Casper and across Wyoming.
The fair, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 1-5 p.m. in the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gym. The event will open from 1-1:30 p.m. for veterans only.
Even if someone is not seeking employment on the day of the fair, it is important for job seekers, especially students, to attend an event like the Casper College Spring Job Fair. Participating in these types of events provides opportunities for students to build professional contact networks and to practice discussing career goals.
“This event is a great opportunity to meet a variety of employers — whether you’re looking for a job now or looking for inspiration for a future career,” said Guyla Greenly, career services coordinator at Casper College. “Anyone hoping to land a position now should come prepared to interview — dress appropriately and bring your resume and list of references. Maybe you’ll go home with a job!”
Several community agencies will be on hand to support job seekers during the event. Representatives from Casper College Workforce Development, Dress for Success, the University of Wyoming — Casper Division of Social Work, and the state’s Department of Workforce Services can assist with resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation. Casper College Career Services also offers individualized career coaching and year-round job-search support.
