What are the features of Casper’s program?

The dance performance degree program at Casper College provides academic and intensive training in dance to prepare you for transfer to a four-year institution.

A graduate of the Casper College Associate of Arts in Dance Performance program:

  • has a strong foundation in dance history, including major trends, styles and choreographers.
  • demonstrates an understanding of performance in the four major dance genres: ballet, modern, jazz and tap.
  • has a strong understanding of the choreographic and improvisational fundamentals.
  • receives a well-rounded education that also encourages the student to develop their studies in other areas of through a variety of elective courses and performance opportunities.
