Escape the winter with a nine-day excursion to warm and wonderful Costa Rica

A trip to the beautiful country of Costa Rica in January 2026 is being offered through Community Education and Lifelong Learning at Casper College. An informational meeting for the trip will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The informational meeting will take place in the Walter H. Nolte Gateway Center, Room. 225.
Travelers on the nine-day trip will explore the country’s lush forests, magnificent waterfalls, rumbling volcanoes, and diverse ecosystems. In addition, travelers will get to experience a coffee plantation, a pineapple farm, and see how sugar cane is processed. Finally, travelers will go to the center of Costa Rican handcrafts to observe artists creating famous oxcarts.
“This trip is full of outdoor adventures and offers travelers the opportunity to see the best of Costa Rica,” said Brittney Good, community education program coordinator.
