Theatre Arts

The Department of Theatre and Dance provides hands-on training and foundational coursework designed for students pursuing the first two years of a baccalaureate degree. Through a blend of extensive classroom study and production experience, you will develop practical skills both on and off the stage. Our program cultivates essential life skills, including creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership, while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Theatre Arts, A.A.

  • Completion Time: Two academic years

  • Total Credit Hours: 62–63 credits

  • Delivery Format: In-person classroom study and production experience

  • Program Highlights: Students engage with all facets of the discipline, including acting, voice, movement, technical theater, and directing. You will have numerous opportunities to participate in professional-level productions each year.
