Goodstein Library welcomes newly revitalized and dynamic Testing Center

Casper College’s Goodstein Foundation Library will welcome a newly revitalized and dynamic Testing Center. The Goodstein will close over spring break this month to begin the move of the campus Testing Center to its new location.

“We are thrilled to announce that the Casper College Testing Center will soon relocate to the Goodstein Foundation Library, bringing testing services into a newly remodeled, highly visible space designed to better serve students, faculty, and the campus community,” Director of Library Katrina Brown said.

Brown added that the move will make the CC Testing Center easier to find and more accessible, while allowing Casper College to better accommodate growing and evolving testing needs. By integrating testing services within the library, students will benefit from a more centralized academic support environment.

As part of this effort, the library is carefully curating its physical book collection to prioritize relevance, quality, and accessibility. While the total number of physical volumes will decrease, every decision is guided by a comprehensive review of usage data, publication dates, and collection analytics to ensure resources align with students’ current academic needs. This will occur over spring break from March 14 to 20.

“Visitors may also notice enhancements to the first floor, where spaces are being optimized to expand and improve student study areas,” Brown said. “The redesign will create flexible environments that support individual study, collaboration, and innovative learning.”

Work on the project is already underway and will continue throughout the summer. The College looks forward to unveiling a refreshed library and Testing Center next fall that better serves today’s students and strengthens academic support across campus.
