Talkin’ T-Birds compete at prestigious Tabor-Venitsy Invitational

The Casper College Talkin’ T-Birds recently returned from the prestigious Tabor-Venitsy Invitational hosted by Cerritos College in Norwalk, California.
“Facing some of the toughest competition before their national tournament, the team not only found success but also took time to explore the sights of Southern California, visiting the Long Beach pier and Hollywood,” said Doug Hall, co-director of the team.
Dani Schulz, Cheyenne, Wyoming, was champion in prose interpretation and placed fourth in dramatic interpretation.
Jack Cochran from Casper was a finalist in extemporaneous and impromptu speaking.
Davin Ro, also from Cheyenne, placed third in program oral interpretation.
“This was an incredibly difficult tournament packed with some of the most talented competitors we will see all season,” said Hall. “Our students performed admirably and had a fantastic experience.”
