Program Student Learning Outcomes

Students will demonstrate key educational theories, philosophies, policies, and teaching practices and awareness of the education system and best practices in teaching and learning.
Students will identify and demonstrate K-12 student learning characteristics, motivation, measurement and evaluation, with the knowledge and strategies needed to create inclusive and effective learning environments.
Students will implement strategies designed to meet the diversity of students learning needs that fall outside traditional instructional methodologies.
Students will apply technological tools and frameworks for effective teaching and learning
Students will develop the skills to critically evaluate assessment methods, considering their validity, reliability, and fairness to support learning and curriculum development.
Students will apply knowledge and skills in a supervised setting to become an effective teacher.

CC makes it super easy to transfer to a four-year university to get your state teaching license. Thanks to the secondary education program here, I feel prepared to be a teacher.
