Agribusiness

Modern agriculture is a combination of business and scientific skill sets. Casper College recognizes the importance of developing future generations of agricultural producers, individuals and business.

What are the features of Casper’s program?

Casper College offers classes for students that are seeking to begin their educational journey in higher education at Casper College, or pursue a bachelor’s degree.

An Associate of Science (A.S.) degree is for students who want a career in agribusiness. This includes production positions in agricultural-related firms — from farm equipment companies, to fertilizer sales or feed companies, as well as commercial banks and other agricultural lending agencies. Many sales and management positions are available in agricultural marketing, which forms the connecting link between the agricultural producers and consumers.

An Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree is for students who do not plan to transfer to a four-year school. This degree is for you if you are looking for a combination of agricultural and business courses to help you enter production agriculture or become employed in a related industry. Although this is an A.A.S. degree, graduates from this program may apply this degree toward an online applied science degree at the University of Wyoming at Casper.
