Accreditation

Casper College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Our science and kinesiology courses are designed to meet the standards required by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), ensuring your credits are respected and transferrable to accredited professional programs nationwide.

Transfer Opportunities

The Associate of Science (A.S.) in Pre-Physical Therapy is a dedicated transfer degree. Through our 2+2 transfer agreements and the WyoTransfer system, our graduates transition seamlessly into the University of Wyoming or other premier research institutions to complete their bachelor’s degree. By starting at CC, you benefit from small class sizes and direct access to faculty for your core science labs—an advantage that leads to a stronger GPA and a more competitive application for graduate school compared to students at larger universities. The pre-professional Education Pathway

This is a transfer program. What does that mean? This Associate of Science (A.S.) degree program prepares students for entry into a bachelor’s degree program and/or for application directly into their identified area of professional schooling.

How to become a physical therapist

The Casper College course curriculum transfers to a variety of physical therapy programs.

CC encourages students to begin a dialogue with their intended transfer schools as early as possible. Your academic advisor will assist you with this process, but it is the student’s responsibility to verify required courses and the application process for the school you are planning to attend.
