I attended several events at the 2017 Casper College Humanities Festival, but one of the keynotes that stuck with me the most was Dr. Arielle Zibrak’s presentation, “’Passing’ as a Writer: James Weldon Johnson and the Identity of the Artist.”
Day two of Casper College’s Humanities Festival kicked off with an expert presentation from Erich Franklin, political science instructor at Casper College.

The Annual Kinser Jazz Festival at Casper College is celebrating its 50th year with three headliner artists: Grammy-nominated Kris Berg and the Metroplexity Big Band on Monday, Feb. 6; Grammy winner New York Voices on Tuesday, Feb. 7; and Grammy winner Terell Stafford with the Ben Markley Trio on Wednesday, Feb. 8. All three concerts will take place each night in the John F. Welsh Auditorium at Natrona County High School at 7.
