KEY Camp applications now open for sixth through eighth graders

KEY Camp applications are now open for Casper College’s popular camp. Two six-day sessions will be offered this year: June 7-12 and June 14-19. The camp is open to students entering the sixth, seventh, or eighth grade in fall 2026.
KEY, Knowledge Enrichment for Youth, builds a foundation for lifelong learning, aids students in reaching their full potential, and equips them for the future,” said Brittney Good, community education program coordinator.
KEY is a summer residential program at Casper College for intellectually curious young people eager to learn. The camp offers students an immersive college experience through hands-on learning and evening activities focused on building lifelong friendships. “We are excited to bring back popular classes like CSI and American Sign Language, while also offering new additions,” said Good.
The cost to attend KEY Camp is $675, and scholarships are available.
The application deadline for KEY Camp is Friday, March 27. A teacher recommendation is required, enrollment is limited, and, according to Good, the program may fill with qualified applicants before the deadline. Only completed online applications will be considered, and they are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the program is full.
