All high school students in Natrona County are invited to explore Casper College’s Health Science Career Clinic on Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event is limited to the first 150 registrants.

Hosted by the Casper College School of Health Science, students will be able to explore career opportunities, meet faculty, explore hands-on programs, and learn about available tuition reimbursement and sign-on bonuses, according to Dino Madsen, dean of the Casper College School of Health Science.

The day will open with a simulation event in the Liesinger Hall Gymnasium. Students will then be broken into eight groups. The groups will rotate through all eight of Casper College’s School of Health Science programs. “This provides a very immersive way for us to showcase our programs,” said Madsen.

Areas and job opportunities that will be available for students to explore during the career clinic include athletic training, certified nursing assistant, kinesiology, medical laboratory technician, nursing, occupational therapy assistant, paramedic, pharmacy technician, phlebotomist, radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, and more allied health programs.

Students interested in attending can register online. For more information, contact Madsen at bernardio.madsen@caspercollege.edu or 307-268-2495.
