‘Wyoming Snakes!’ September’s Werner Wildlife Series topic

Charlotte Snoberger, Casper College biology instructor and herpetologist, will give a presentation titled “Wyoming Snakes!” Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 6 p.m.
“Charlotte will be presenting about the many snake species in Wyoming, how to identify them, and where they live in the state. She will teach using beautiful photographs and diagrams, so that attendees can leave more confident in their identification of Wyoming snake species,” said Dalene Hodnett, director of museums.
Before coming to Casper College to teach, Snoberger was a herpetologist for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. Snoberger has worked across the entire state of Wyoming surveying for reptiles and amphibians, and her favorite organisms in Wyoming are spadefoot toads.
The presentation is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. It will take place in the museum’s Africa-Arctic Room. For more information, call 307-235-2108.
The Werner Wildlife Museum, located off the Casper College campus at 405 E. 15th Street, is free and open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
