Casper College was recently recognized as the 2024 Member of the Year by the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented to the college during the Chamber’s 122nd Excellence in Business Awards.
Casper College was nominated for the award along with Oil Mountain Energy, Paul Nash — Wyoming Health Fairs, and the University of Wyoming at Casper. The finalists were narrowed to Casper College and the University of Wyoming at Casper. “Being named one of the top two finalists in your category is no small feat, and we’re beyond excited to help shine a light on your incredible impact,” wrote Kim Coleman, Chamber vice president of marketing and communications, in an email to Chris Lorenzen, director of the college’s public relations office.
The Member of the Year award is given to the standout individual or business making a difference in Natrona County and the Chamber community. “Whether through volunteer work, supporting local initiatives, or being an excellent citizen, this member is dedicated to bettering the Casper area,” Coleman said. “Around January, we ask the membership to nominate businesses for a variety of award categories and the membership votes for who they find the most deserving,” Coleman added.
Following the awards ceremony, Chamber President and CEO Tina Hoebelheinrich noted that the business awards event is held yearly to highlight the passion, innovation, and leadership that drive the business community forward. “The 2024-2025 award recipients (were) recognized for their exceptional commitment to the Natrona County community and the Chamber,” she said.
“We were so proud to be recognized in this way by the Chamber,” said Casper College President Brandon Kosine. All the employees at Casper College work hard to help our community improve each day through various learning opportunities we offer to the citizens of Natrona County.”
“These awards recognize the movers, shakers, and difference-makers who are truly shaping the future of our region,” said Hoebelheinrich. “Each honoree reflects the spirit of excellence that makes Natrona County’s business community so special. We’re honored to celebrate their success.”
