The Casper College Writing Center is now open during the summer session through Thursday, July 27.

“Our doors are open to students who need a computer lab, printer, relaxation, or tutoring,” said Katie Morgan, writing center assistant.

The Writing Center is free and available to any writer working on any type of writing project for any reason. “Our purpose is to engage people who come to the center in a conversation about their writing. We offer assistance at all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming to a full draft,” Morgan said.

The Writing Center is located in Strausner Hall, Room 215 and is open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and noon to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The center is open to Casper College and the University of Wyoming Casper students and employees, as well as the Casper community. All services and resources are free.

According to Morgan, appointments are not required but “highly encouraged.” To schedule an in-person appointment, click here. To schedule an online appointment, click here, or call 307-268-2610.

Strausner Hall is located on the Casper College campus.
