Inaugural Veterans Ball set for Nov. 12
The inaugural Casper College Veterans Ball will be held Friday, Nov. 12, beginning at 7 p.m. The ball is sponsored by the Casper College Veterans Club and hosted by Medal of Honor recipient Clint Romesha.
According to Nick Whipps, the military ball is a long-standing tradition among all branches of service. “The Casper College Veterans Club wants to put their own spin on that tradition,” said Whipps, veteran and military student services coordinator. “This is an opportunity to bring everyone together to celebrate their service and to have some fun at the same time,” Whipps added.
The semi-formal event will be held at the Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center in Casper. The event will be catered and includes a formal dinner, social hour, receiving line, and dancing. Tickets to the ball must be bought in advance and are $45 per person.
