A new class, “Independent Investigation of Truth: A Baha’i Principle” OLLI 140073, will show that an “independent investigation of truth is a fundamental principle of the Baha’i faith,” according to instructor Daniel Cooper.

According to Cooper, the spiritual teaching eliminates the need for clergy and allows each individual to understand scripture for themselves. “People who interpret or define reality for us in our secular society often divide us. Independent investigation of truth can unite us by helping to figure out what is real,” said Cooper.

The class will be offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, OLLI, at Casper College and will run Monday, Feb. 24, and March 2 from 6-7:30 p.m. For more information or to register for “Independent Investigation of Truth: A Baha’i Principle,” contact lifelong learning specialist Jeaneece Schmidt at 307-268-2099 or jeaneece.schmidt@caspercollege.edu.
