CC Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra Join Choirs for Annual “Fall Collage Concert”
The Casper College Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Orchestra will join the Casper College choirs for the annual “Fall Collage Concert” on Friday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Wheeler Concert Hall.
Under the direction of Zachary Vreeman, choral instructor, this year’s concert will be “… our most variety-filled ‘Fall Collage’ yet,” he said, adding, “This is the Casper College Music Department’s first ensemble concert of the year and features six different groups playing and singing from across the spectrum of genres.”
The CC Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Joshua Mietz, woodwinds instructor, and the CC Chamber Concert is under the direction of Jennifer Cowell-DePaolo, strings and orchestra instructor. In addition, Paula Flynn, piano instructor, will join as the collaborative pianist. “We hope that bringing all of these groups together for one early concert will showcase for the college and the public all the new talented musicians we have studying on campus this year,” Vreeman said.
The “Fall Collage Concert” is free and open to the public. The Wheeler Concert Hall is located in the Music Building on the Casper College campus.
