Watts Named as College’s June Employee

Crystal Watts has been named as the Employee of the Month at Casper College for June 2018.

Watts, digital learning audiovisual specialist, has been working at the college since December 2015.

Watts was nominated by Jennifer Pepple, employment and recruiting specialist. “(Crystal) is always ready to help … I know that I can always count on her,” wrote Pepple in her nomination. “I’ve worked with her in other capacities around campus through various committees and have never known her to not step up and help out when needed,” Pepple added.

“Her willingness to personally assist with tech issues in day-to-day operations, especially when glitches arise is greatly appreciated,” said Valerie Innella Maiers, art history instructor at Casper College.

“I have worked with Crystal for quite some time now, and I can honestly say she is one of the most positive and hardworking employees we have at the college. … One of the most notable traits Crystal has is her competence. I have yet to see a situation where she can’t solve the problem at hand,” said Brandon Kosine, dean of the Casper College School of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

The employee of the month is selected from nominations received by a selection committee and is based on a nomination and rating form with at least one letter of support.
