“Harnessing Stubborn: Packing with Mules” is the topic for the March Werner Wildlife Study Series on Thursday, March 22 beginning at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to all.

Todd Jones, Casper College agriculture instructor and instructor of a mule packing class at the college since 1993, will give a presentation on packing with mules. “Todd is a professional outfitter of 27 years and has led guided elk, bighorn sheep, and moose hunts, as well as fly fishing trips in the Washakie and Cloud Peak Wilderness,” said India Hayford, museum assistant. For the many trips he has led, Jones used both horses and mules, many of which he trained.

March’s presentation will be held at the Werner Agricultural Pavilion on the Casper College campus. For more information call 307-235-2108 or email indiahayford@caspercollege.edu.
