Heath Goodall, Deaf Man “Wired” will be performing his one-man show in Durham Auditorium on Friday, Feb. 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. His presentation incorporates deaf poetry into stand-up comedy using no conventional signs to tell about his life experiences in the hearing world.

Goodall’s Friday performance is the culmination of the first ever Sign Fest, according to Gail Schenfisch, Casper College American Sign Language instructor. Through a grant funded by the Central Wyoming Board of Cooperative Educational Services, more than 328 students at Casper College, Kelly Walsh High School, and Dean Morgan Middle School currently taking coursework in American Sign Language during the 2016-2017 school year will participate in Sign Fest. During Sign Fest, Goodall will present two three-hour workshops to the students.

Goodall’s Friday night performance is free and open to the public, and a sign language interpreter will be provided. Durham Auditorium is located in Aley Hall on the Casper College campus. For more information, contact Schenfisch at 307-268-2588.
