The Casper College Office of Public Relations was recognized recently with two Paragon Awards for outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges in the nation.

During the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations 2016 National Conference in St. Louis, Missouri, the college received a gold for sports program: basketball and a bronze for its alumni magazine: Footprints. NCMPR’s Paragon Awards is the only national competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and PR professionals at two-year colleges.

Casper College was honored earlier at the NCMPR’s District 4 Level with a total of nine Medallion Awards. District 4 includes all of the two-year colleges in Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming. Casper College won the following Medallion Awards: gold for new website, gold for magazine: Footprints, gold for men’s basketball poster, gold for newsletter: Tate Geological Times, gold for sports program/brochure: volleyball, silver for postcard: “milk bath” postcard, silver for novelty advertising: slap wristbands, silver for sports program/brochure: rodeo, and bronze for sports program/brochure: men and women’s basketball.
